"Contributed over £25,000 to
national charitable causes"

Manheim are committed to working harmoniously with the various communities within which we exist. We set objectives to support these aims and regularly review our responsibilities in these areas.

On Environment issues we:

  • include environmental considerations into our operational decision-making.
  • seek to reduce the environmental impacts of our activities through continuous improvement.
  • comply with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations and other codes of practice.
  • encourage suppliers and contractors to pursue responsible environmental practices.
  • control any noise and nuisance from our operations to reduce the impact on our neighbours.
  • promote energy and motor fuel efficiency amongst our employees.
  • ensure employees are aware of our policy and help in reducing any environmental impact of our operations.

We actively support local and national Charities:

  • last year we contributed over £25,000 to national charitable causes including Wooden Spoon, which supports disadvantaged children and young people and BEN the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund.
  • our local funding raising activities topped £10,000 including monies raised for the children’s charity Make-A-Wish Foundation as well as the September Foundation.
  • we aim to offer in-kind support to charities and community organisations by donating equipment and other goods that are surplus to the needs of the Company.
