Simulcast
Exclusive to Motor Trade customers only, Simulcast is an internet–based service that allows a buyer to "attend" a physical auction from the comfort of their own office. Using the very latest online broadcast technology, the service allows the buyer to see and hear all the action from the Auction Hall and then, with the click of a mouse, bid and buy cars or commercial vehicles in real–time, competing against other online buyers as well as buyers who are actually in the Hall. Each Simulcast bid is immediately registered in the Auction Hall by a large plasma screen that flashes red
The advantages of Simulcast are:
- Provision of visual and audio access to physical auctions from anywhere in the world!
- Ability to view fully detailed condition reports of vehicles of interest
- Participation in the sale by simply clicking your mouse to bid and buy vehicles
- Monitor activity in the marketplace, to "keep your finger on the pulse".
So if you can’t leave the office, have a prior engagement or simply won’t want to waste time travelling, Simulcast allows you to "be there, when you’re not there!"
Please note that in addition to your buyers fee, a fee
of £33 + VAT is payable on each vehicle purchased
online. Please be aware that this fee may vary for some

Please note that some vehicles offered via Simulcast may not be accompanied by images or appraisals. In such cases you will need to make other arrangements to assess the condition before bidding online.

CyberAuction
Unlike Simulcast, CyberAuction is a live "virtual" auction where ALL invited buyers (manufacturer and trade only) are bidding over the internet against each other. With CyberAuction for Motor Trade customers there’s also no need to visit an auction.
The advantages of CyberAuction are:
- All vehicles are prepared to same standard as a physical auction
- Access from a computer anywhere in the world
- Vehicles viewed in advance of the auction via pre–sale catalogues
- Ability to set alarm against selected lots in a watch list
- Real–time interactive auction—watch the progress of a sale
- Bids confirmed and accepted on screen
- All purchases confirmed on screen and in personal purchase reports

Irrespective of buyer category the following charges will apply.
Cars and Vans
£5 per vehicle, per day plus VAT
Trucks & Trailers
£15 per vehicle, per day plus VAT
If you collect your vehicle/s within 3 days of purchase you will not be charged this fee
Collecting your vehicle/s after three days will incur this charge and will be backdated to the first day of storage.
This fee will be charged once you collect your vehicle/s. Payment to be made at the Payment Office.
