Swansway Group, the family owned and run automotive business based in the North-West and Midlands, has signed a new, two-year contract, beginning a partnership with vehicle remarketing provider, Manheim.

The agreement will see a minimum of 3,700 trade vehicles per annum disposed of through two Manheim auction sites at Washington (Tyne and Wear) and Manchester from November 2021.

Manheim aims to remarket over 100 vehicles per month in Washington where auctions are held on Wednesdays, with Swansway Group stock available from 3rd November. A further 200 vehicles per month will be sold each Thursday and Friday in Manchester, with Swansway Group stock available from 4th November.

John Smyth, Director of Swansway Group, said: “We’re delighted to be beginning a new partnership with Manheim. Since Manheim is a part of the wider Cox Automotive group, this partnership gives us more than a remarketing programme. It enables us to access support throughout the vehicle lifecycle and we are looking forward to growing our relationship with the business into other areas as we move forward.”

Liam Quegan, managing director of Manheim Auction Services added: “Manheim warmly welcomes Swansway Group to what we hope is a long and fruitful partnership. One hundred per cent of Swansway’s remarketing volume will come into Manheim auction centres in Washington and Manchester. We thank them for placing their trust in us and look forward to working with them on a successful long-term basis.”

Swansway Group is a family owned and run automotive business operating across England’s North-West and Midlands since 2003.
