What is Battery Health?
Battery Health is shown as a percentage score that indicates the battery’s condition at the time of testing. In simple terms, it helps you understand the battery’s current capability compared to when it was new.
It’s designed to bring more transparency to EV buying - so you can assess battery condition alongside age, mileage, specification and overall vehicle condition.
How Battery Health is checked
Battery Health checks are carried out using technology provided by AVILOO and form part of the vehicle’s existing inspection process. This means Battery Health is integrated into how vehicles are prepared and presented - helping you see the information where it matters most: on the listing, in search, and on the vehicle details page.
Where can you find the Battery Health score?
For eligible EVs and PHEVs with completed certification, you will see:
- Battery Health on listings and search results
- Battery Health percentage score on the vehicle details page
Only vehicles with completed Battery Health Certification will display the percentage score.
