Citroen speeds ahead with award success

Citroën, Europe’s second largest car manufacturer, has picked up plaudits for its website at this year’s Car Dealer Awards. The French-based company was handed the ‘Best Manufacturer Used Car Website’ in honour of its responsive Used Vehicle Locator (UVL) service.

The platform, built by automotive digital marketing specialists, Manheim Retail Services, presents users with a multitude of features to enhance their browsing experience.  The introduction of an all-new navigation menu allows customers to choose their next car by style (such as ‘Family, Executive or DSLine’), with the search streamlined to best match the customer’s requirements.

To meet the shifting browsing habits of the customer, the new locator is fully responsive to cater to any screen size.  Providing a bespoke mobile experience, customers can make direct contact with a Citroën dealership straight from their mobile device.
With the category judges looking for a site that was both informative and easy to navigate, Citroën’s UVL customer-focused layout proved to be a popular choice for the award.
