Manheim has announced a new partnership with Days Motor Group, a member of the Retail Automotive Alliance (RAA).

Following recommendations from the RAA, Days Motor Group will move all its auction and remarketing trade volume to Manheim from January 2018.

The deal will see more than 4,000 vehicles from the group sold via Manheim's Bristol auction centre in 2018, with the introduction of LCV vehicles in the second half of the year.

Retail Automotive Alliance Limited Manheim's Tim Hudson said: "We are very much looking forward to working with Days Motor Group to remarket their vehicles from January. Our partnership with the RAA is now in its thirteenth year, during that time, its members have collectively sold more than 250,000 vehicles with Manheim. Throughout our relationship we have worked very closely to develop and grow the programme, promoting Cox Automotive's full range of products and services to RAA members.

"Over the next two years, we expect RAA members, including Days Group, to sell in excess of 60,000 vehicles with Manheim, a fantastic testament to the strength of our partnership, and the hard work and expertise of our teams."

John Matthews, Business Development Director at the RAA, said: "All our members subscribe to some product or service from Cox Automotive which is a fundamental requirement of the RAA.  Our primary focus is physical auctions via Manheim locations, so we are delighted that Days Motor Group has decided to fully commit its volume to the programme. This gives us a great start to 2018.

"Our strategy is to broaden the member engagement with Cox Automotive over the next two years by taking advantage of the wide range of innovative services they offer and also to make these bespoke where possible. This will deliver a greater value to the members of the Cox Automotive partnership and ultimately, increase profitability."
