Manheim, a leading UK provider of integrated products and services for the vehicle remarketing sector, has renewed its partnership with Group 1 Automotive until the end of the year.

Group 1 Automotive has worked with Manheim since 2008, and has recently expanded its auction programme to include volume from its Jaguar Land Rover centre in Sidcup. The latest deal between the two companies will see 14,000 vehicles per year pass through Manheim’s auction lanes in Colchester and Wimbledon.

With 70 sites across the UK, Group 1 Automotive works with a range of marques and has exciting plans for growth, having completed the acquisition of Robinsons Mercedes and Beadles in 2018.

Peter Bell, Managing Director of Manheim said: “We are thrilled to have renewed our long-standing partnership with Group 1 Automotive.

“At Manheim, we take pride in delivering great results for our customers, and well-established auction programmes like this one are testament to our success. We look forward to seeing our relationship with Group 1 Automotive continue to go from strength-to-strength.”

Darren Guiver, Managing Director of Group 1 Automotive added: “We have worked in partnership with Manheim for over ten years, and have been impressed by the level of service, expertise and flexibility the business offers.

“This is an exciting time for Group 1 Automotive, and we believe Manheim is perfectly placed to support us as we deliver on our 2019 priorities, and continue to develop our remarketing programme.”

This announcement is the latest in a string of contract renewals announced by Manheim so far in 2019, with Endeavour Automotive, Vindis, and the Sytner Car Supermarket Group all confirming that they will continue their partnerships with the business.
