Manheim Auction Services has once again reigned supreme after it was named Auction House of the Year 2023 at the coveted Car Dealer Power Awards.

It’s the fourth time in six years that Cox Automotive’s flagship brand has netted the prize at the annual awards – announced 28th June – which are chosen by Car Dealer readers. The accolades spotlight both the best motor trade suppliers and OEMs to do business with.

Manheim Auction Services Managing Director Liam Quegan said: “We are delighted to win Auction House of the Year yet again. We’re especially proud because the awards are voted for by people who use our service, proving that what we’re doing resonates so much with customers.

“The past 12 months have seen us launch a new auction programme and grow the number of quality vendors remarketing stock through our network. It’s superb to see that effort rewarded in this way.

“Coming out of the pandemic, customers told us they wanted a hybrid offering, the choice to buy physically or online at sales packed with stock from vendors they rate, both locally and nationwide, and in September last year we delivered on that ask. The feedback has been phenomenal, so much so, we extended the programme last month with the launch of a new sale at Haydock.

“Meanwhile, we’ve signed new contracts with many of the best-performing dealer groups in the UK, including Swansway, AvailableCar, Peter Vardy and Big Motoring World. That means more stock into our 12 auction centres, which in turn means a more efficient and satisfying experience for all. On behalf of everyone at Manheim Auction Services, I’d like to thank Car Dealer readers for choosing Manheim.”
