Three years in a row for award-winning Manheim
Manheim Auction Services are hat-trick heroes after being named WhatVan? Remarketing Company of the Year for the third year running.
Cox Automotive-owned Manheim triumphed once again at the recent WhatVan? Awards. They are billed as the most prestigious independent accolades in the UK’s LCV industry.
Judges were impressed by Manheim’s “…growth in volumes and first-time sales, new vendor deals, EV infrastructure investment and valued market and rostrum insights”.
Matthew Davock, Director of Manheim Commercial Vehicles, Cox Automotive, said: “We are very proud to have been named Remarketing Company of the Year for the third time in a row. It’s a terrific accolade for the whole team. Our team members across the country have excecated our yearly goals and aspirations whilst putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.”
“The past year has seen Manheim work with a record number of vendors to de-fleet and remarket stock through our network. And, as this award shows, that hard work has paid off and this recognition further demonstrates our strong industry position in this important market sector.”
After a super-charged start to the year in the LCV market, which saw renewed appetite and demand from buyers, 2023 has proved to be one of continuous improvement at Manheim. It further extended its LCV physical auction footprint in September, by launching a regular event in Shotts, Scotland. In June, it also increased its hybrid sales LCV programme with a new weekly event at Haydock, bringing an additional 500 commercial vehicles per month to the market. Trade buyers are now, on average, just 58 miles from a Manheim commercial vehicle sale.
To conclude, it’s been a record-breaking calendar year for Manheim Auction Services’ LCV sales. The LCV auction powerhouse have sold and facilitated assets for 566 different vendors, delivering more than 320 auction sale events and attracting over 4,200 van dealers to its sales and auction sites over the year.
