We know you like to stay connected, so we provide free Wi-Fi access in all Manheim auction centres.  Simply scan for Wi-Fi networks on your device for the “manheim-public” network and follow the registration prompts. It's a great way to check catalogues on Manheim.co.uk and view detailed inspection reports throughout our auctions.

To make things more streamlined for all our clients, we will waive the annual administration fee. Meaning there will be no need to make yearly renewal payments if you are a motor trade or business account holder.

Each tier is subject to different Buyer, Online and Assured fees.  The volume of vehicles that you buy in a one year period determines your Manheim account tier.  As your business demands increase and you buy more vehicles Manheim will recognise your loyalty by providing a more preferential fee structure and associated benefits.  All cars, CDV's, LCV’s, motorcycles and HGV’s that you buy online or in-lane from Manheim, of any value, count towards your account total. Exclusions apply for selected items of plant equipment and machinery.

Proxy bidding is a great way to place a bid on a vehicle prior to a sale when you know you won't be able to attend the auction in person. This feature allows you to free up your time for other daily activities, plus you’ll never miss an opportunity to buy again.

It’s really straightforward, motor trade account holders can submit proxy bids through Manheim.co.uk before the sale begins and if you win the vehicle we’ll contact you to let you know.

You’ll only incur a fee if you are successful in winning the vehicle.

As a motor trade or business account holder you will gain access to free auction catalogues containing vital vehicle provenance data and market pricing intelligence, which isn’t available to non-trade buyers. Browse your complimentary auction catalogues online or request a copy when registering at the auction centre.

Manheim provide a dedicated Buyer Services account manager for all Club+ account holders and a dedicated Buyer Services national account manager for Premier and Premier+ account holders, making doing business at Manheim easier for you.

Account set up fee
Each new account opened requires an initial set up fee of £70 including VAT for a motor trade account or £85 including VAT for a business account (please note: business accounts are available for non-motor trade businesses only), to be paid prior to your account opening. This is a one-off payment, as a Manheim account holder you will not be required to pay an annual account fee.

V5C
There is no additional charge for V5C documents when you purchase with Manheim.

VAT on vehicles
Some vehicles sold at Manheim auction centres will be subject to VAT, which will be applied to the final hammer price - this is currently charged at 20%. Please contact a member of the auction centre team for more details on vehicles that will incur VAT.

Storage fees
Vehicles purchased in a Manheim auction can be held at the auction selling centre for three days free of charge. Vehicles remaining after this period will be charged at a fee of £10 +VAT per day for each car & LCV and £20 +VAT for other vehicles and will be back-dated to the first day of storage following purchase. You'll be required to pay any storage fees upon collection of your vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz vehicles
If you buy a Mercedes-Benz with a certification stating Cosmetically Prepared, also known as CP you will be charged an additional fee of £200+VAT per vehicle.
