Manheim announces LCV deal with Group 1 Automotive

Group 1 Automotive has expanded its long-standing remarketing partnership with Manheim to include LCVs.

The new commercial vehicle deal will complement the dealer group’s existing auction programme, which sees 14,000 cars per year go under the hammer.

As part of the new agreement, the UK’s number one CV auction company will offer 400 LCVs pa in a dedicated remarketing programme at its Colchester auction centre. The first auction is set to take place on the 25th of September.

The deal comes in a year that has seen Manheim’s LCV team deliver considerable growth across its online auction channels. In August, the business announced that vehicles had sold an average three days faster year-on-year as a result of strong online sales, and a buoyant CV market.
