Update to buying online at Manheim during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak
In response to the exceptional situation caused by the Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the decision that, from 18th March, Manheim UK will no longer charge the additional fee for buying online via Simulcast*.
If you are not familiar with our Simulcast service, then please go to www.manheim.co.uk/simulcast. To access Simulcast, you will need your Manheim.co.uk username and password. If you haven’t previously used Simulcast or need assistance, then please contact your local branch or Buyer Services on 0333 136 1750.We also have Vendor Online which enables sellers to attend online and put vehicles on sale as if there in person. More details are available on the website or through your account manager.
All our auction centres are open as normal and our physical auction programme remains in place. For those buyers who prefer to attend in person, there are no changes to auction day arrangements. There are several benefits to buying online including the ability to “attend” multiple auctions simultaneously, plus we can also take care of delivery. Also, If you are a NextGear Capital customer, then your payment process online is seamless.
Remember that your Manheim account provides access to Manheim Online vehicles where the online fee will also be removed. For access to even more stock online, make sure you are registered on Dealer Auction* the UK’s largest online only wholesale marketplace with vehicles available now at dealerauction.co.uk.
We are closely monitoring this fast-developing situation and will continue to act in the most appropriate way for our customers and team members in line with UK Government guidelines. The health, safety and well-being of our customers and team members is our top priority.
We hope that this change will provide you with additional flexibility in making buying decisions. Despite these being unprecedented times, there is a high volume of fresh stock arriving daily and we remain very much open for business. This temporary relaxation of the Simulcast fee will remain in force until further notice.
