Manheim has added seven new two-car transports to its existing fleet of 52 vehicles. The single DAF and six Isuzu transporters, all of which are Euro 6 specification, will go into operation serving Manheim’s auction sites in Birmingham, Bristol, Bruntingthorpe, Haydock, Leeds and Northampton.

The transporter bodies include a loading winch, rear loading ramps and safety lighting.

The vehicles have gone into service in Manheim’s Logistics and Inspection Services division, which provides customers with access to over 200 vehicle transporters and more than 500 plate drivers across the UK, to cope with virtually any vehicle movement requirement.

The two-car transporters are being leased by Manheim over a period of five years with BNP Paribas and Hitachi.

Paul Hill, Director of Logistics & Inspection Services for Manheim, said: “The seven new additions to Manheim’s fleet will help us to meet our customers’ transport needs, particularly given the increasing demand for the movement of one or two cars via transporter.”
